PJ's Family

Pamela Jean was born on October 3, 1968 to Ben and Nancy Valenta. She has a sister Debra and brother Michael. Pam attended Mishicot Elementary School and graduated from Mishicot High School with the Class of 1987.

She married Gerald W Kadow in 1989 and they raised two daughters, Samantha and Krista. Pam worked beside her husband for many years in the family business, GW Kadow Plumbing and Heating.

Pam enjoyed her daughters, attending their school activities and sporting events. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, her favorite destination being Jamaica.

Pam had a heart of gold. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, she loved making and sharing food and shopping for a good deal! Pam loved to walk throughout the village, one of her favorite pastimes. This is the reason why PJ’s Walk was founded.

She found out in her 30’s that she had ovarian cancer and battled valiantly and courageously for eight years. She passed away on March 15, 2011 at the young age of 42. She is truly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. We miss her wonderful smile and contagious laugh!
